In this short note, the author, employing literary prose, attempts to raise awareness of human alienation in contemporary materialistic everyday reality. It seems that only the very fact that we experience the innocent condition of infantry can remind us of our origins. Humanity, perhaps, has reached an apex of scientific achievements. It may even manage to move beyond earth, into space. But how different, the author wonders, the world would have been if the scientific knowledge that humanity has already acquired was used as a weapon of love, of this kind of love that the human being carries within itself from the moment of its birth. The governments of the world and the big science companies, instead of seeking profit, should passionately work in the direction of relieving the real human suffering. Such a prospect, however, is nothing more than a wish. The real hope is to be found only in God.
