   1. Theodoros Zisis is a Protopresbyter and Professor Emeritus of the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki. He was born in the village Panaghia of Thassos, in 1941. He studied theology in the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki. From the same university he receuived the degree of the doctor of theology, in 1971. In 1980, he was elected Professor of Patrology. In 1972-73 and 1979-80 he was visiting fellow at Alexandre von Humboldt-Stiftung in Bonn.
