    1. The newspaper article of high-circulation daily “24chasa” tells the story of a promising young expert with an excellent career in international institutions who at certain point made a turn in his personal development and became a monk in the Zograf Monastery at Mount Athos.   

       Following a detailed description of what made him take this decision, monk Kliment shared some thoughts on the science-faith relations. He sees no contradiction between the knowledge about the world he gained in his secular education and the knowledge about God. He knows that a many of the people working at NASA are believers just because with their intellectual capabilities they understand that the theories for the origin of the world are not credible. “They understand that there is no evolution, there is a creator. And these are very intelligent people. This is the case with many mathematicians and physicians”, monk Kliment was cited as saying.

       Although this is a publication appearing in a not-specialized edition and also just a fragment of the item is dedicated to the science-Orthodoxy relations it arguably might be of significance to the dialogue given the very wide public it has reached.
