   1. Prof. Kalin Yanakiev is philosopher and theologian. He teaches at the Philosophical Faculty of the Sofia University, specializing in Christian philosophy and medieval culture. Prof. Yanakiev is a prolific writer who has published significant number of studies and monographs in addition to a large number of articles on Eastern Orthodoxy in editions for the wider audience. He is one of the editors of local journal Christianity and Culture.
