   1. Boris Marinov was a professor at the Theological Faculty of the Sofia University. He worked and published in the fields of religious education and relations between Christianity and sciences.  In the early 1940s, he published a two-volume book that sought consent between the Bible and modern sciences: Origin of the world and the history of the earth according to science and the Bible (original title: Произход на света и историята на земята според науката и библията, 1941) and Is there a contradiction between science and the Bible on the question of the essence, origin and development of life? (Original title: Има ли противоречие между науката и библията по въпроса за същината, произхода и развитието на живота?).
