God - who is the Creator of the world and whose existence is shown by Science today – gave instincts to living creatures - both humans and animals. These are related to supporting life and to continuing the species. Instincts are absolutely necessary - for without them life is not possible. That is why they are born from birth, and mind does not interfere in the slightest with their production. They are divine laws to which every being must obey. They bring happiness when they are satisfied. An instinct is composed of an idea (sensory impression) and a movement (motor reaction). Both the impression and the reaction are accompanied by pleasure or inconvenience; and this emotional character distinguishes instinctive acts from acts that are not instinctive. Thus, for example, a hungry dog remains indifferent to a piece of stone (indifferent, non-instinctive impression); he jumps joyfully and licks his mouth when he sees a piece of meat (a pleasant instinctive impression) and quickly swallows it (a pleasant instinctive reaction). Also, the same dog passes peacefully alongside a sheep (indistinct non-instinctive impression); but he feels horrified when he sees a wolf (instinctive unpleasant impression), and flips it (unpleasant instinctive reaction). The character of pleasure or inconvenience of acts of instincts therefore depends on the benefit of which he profits or the danger in which he is put, the life of the individual and his offspring The instincts are the most precious gifts that the Creator has given to the living beings. Not only are they indispensable to life, but they are also the source of happiness when people (perhaps animals too) abide strictly by the laws of nature. Indeed, to be happy, man has no other business than: 1. Satisfy their hunger with tasty dishes and quench their thirst with clear and cold water; 2. Have no threatening enemy; 3. Enjoy a beautiful, diligent and wise wife, who gives birth to healthy and obedient children; 4. Build a comfortable home, own a landing farm to feed the family and gather supplies for winter; 5. Finally, thanks to his intellectual qualities, be appreciated by his fellow men, who can elect him mayor or deputy and thus become even a member of parliament. Therefore, when these instinctive conditions are fulfilled, man reaches the peak of happiness. CONTENTS: Introduction The origins of passions Instincts Conflicts and passions. THE FOUR PASSIONS 1.
