    1. The book is an interdisciplinary attempt to answer some of the important questions on the origin of the man. The author believes that scientists often fail to explain the origin of the man due to their ideological stances.

Contrary to evolution where there is an endless progress, the author sees human existence as degradation, involution – from what was perfectly created. He founds impetus for such stance in theology, psychology, linguistics, genetics.

Through the book, the author provides a plethora of instances of human degeneration in different spheres of knowledge. Through the reduction of diversity in language, biology, different forms of life, the author further presents and elaborates on so as to show the line of degradation. Finally, he poses some of the possibilities to come out of such a process.

The book thus presents a challenge for the advocates of the theory of evolution that see the human being on the way to the perfect stage of existence.
