The book explores the spiritual foundations of the global crisis, that is, observe the modern world crisis in a comprehensive way. It has the interdisciplinary approach to the philosophical, sociological, economic, political, cultural, theological, and scientific conditions and thus integrates an integral "view of the world".
Modern age, in which the civilization developed rapidly, especially in terms of technology and economy, exhibited many signs of the crises of the relationship between the individual and the community, and attempted to respond to the crisis that sought to overcome and build a more stable and more developed world. Solutions are however sought in technical terms.
What is happening with economy, or with religion in the postmodern age is also happening in natural, exact sciences. It is there where modernity reached its peak, which has been absorbed in the perspective of science through rational interpretations of the results of individual experimental research. For over half a century modernity has tried to restrain and retain scientific achievements within the framework of a materialistic model and prevent the shaping of new, holistic, dynamic views and practice of action, because they would lead to a fundamental revaluation, not only of the natural-scientific views on the world, but also of the fundamental change in the view of man and society, that is, of contemporary life, which is not of interest to many.
