   1. Koruga, Djuro is Professor and Head at the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Nanomedicine at the United Nations-mandated University for Peace, European Center for Peace and Development (ECPD). He is also the Professor at Mechanical Engineering at the University of Belgrade teaching. He teaches biomedical engineering, Nanotechnology, Medical nanoengineering, Early cancer and melanoma detection, Fractal mechanics.

      His keen interest is also the intersection of science and religion, and their mutual dependence in historical and contemporary context.
