    1. In the paper, the author has tried to relate Christian views of St. Gregory of Nyssa, as expanded in his canonical Epistle consisting of eight rules of Christian true-life, to some achievements in the area of dynamic (in-depth) psychology, psychotherapy, and psychosomatics.

       In the author’s perspective, St. Gregory of Nyssa seems to have been not only an excellent theologian and philosopher, but also a proper psychologist, thus pointing to possible solutions for some contemporary Christian psychologists and psychiatrists.
