   1. Vukašin Pavlović is a Professor of Political Sociology, Dean and Vice-Dean in several terms at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade. He was Fulbright lecturer at City University of New York (1984), and a Visiting Professor at University of Westminster in London (2004) and University of Pittsburgh, Semester at Sea Program (2003). He is Professor Emeritus at University of Belgrade.

      He is the author of a number of books and he edited great number of scientific proceedings such as Environmental Impacts of the NATO War in FR Yugoslavia 1999 (in Serbian and English), Ecology and Religion (1997), Ecology and Ethics (1996).

      He is one of the founders of the NGO Eco Center, as well as the Center for Democracy, Center for Ecological Policy and Sustainable Development, and the Center for British Studies at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade.

       He was awarded the City of Belgrade Award in 2012 for the book State and Society, which was rated as the best work in the field of social sciences and humanities in Serbia for 2011.
