   1. Nonka Bogomilova is a professor at Institute for the Study of Societies and Knowledge (at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, BAS). She graduated from the historical-philosophical Faculty of the Sofia University with majors in philosophy and psychology.  Nonka Bogomilova obtained a doctor degree at BAS with a thesis on the dialectic of religious and aesthetic consciousness. She teaches a number of university courses and is a prolific author in the fields of religions studies, identities, sociology of religion, religion and politics.
