    1. The author explores the possibility of a fruitful dialogue between religion and neurophysiology. He analyzes predominant themes in religious philosophy of Ante Matković and summarizes his theories as cerebral cosmology and anthropology.  The author shows how Matković’s cosmogony and his theory of evolution are juxtaposed to the opinion of contemporary atheism apologists such as Richard Dawkins. Finally, the author concludes that the religious neurophysiology of Ante Matković inspires thinking over some traditional, existential philosophy dilemmas, those insoluble by reason and just hinted by mind.
