    1. In this article, the teacher of the Moscow Theological Academy and associate professor of the Orthodox St. Tikhon's Humanitarian University, PhD in theology, Father Oleg Mumrikov, examines various approaches towards building a holistic scientific and religious dialogue in the context of modern Orthodox apologetics along with analysing the weaknesses and strengths of approaches in Catholic, Protestant and Orthodox apologetics. Through his thesis, the author proposes the formulations of principles that take into account both the adequacy of the empirical and theoretical realities of natural science and the dogmatic intactness of Orthodox doctrinal truths.
