    1. Science and religion fundamentally differ from each other in their goals and methods. At the same time, they also need to enter into a mutually fruitful dialogue in the boundary of "ultimate", "fundamental" issues that are always indirectly raised in natural science: rationality and chance, personal freedom of will and determinism, objectivity and subjectivity, the problem of holistic perception of the world, and much more. All these issues inevitably involve a religious or philosophical aspect. The essence and origin of biological life also refers to the "ultimate" area.

Father Oleg Mumrikov argues that in modern Christian apologetics it is important to avoid absolutism of the arguments considered as "against", and "for" the theory of a biogenic origin of life. The fact is that the arguments "against", in fact, refer to the concept of "God of white spots". One can not state with absolute certainty that all the problems indicated and unmarked in the article (for example, the presence of molecular optical isomers of one species in living matter) will never be resolved by science.

At the same time, it is worth remembering, as the author points out, that a possible scientific solution of these questions does not refute the statement about the Divine creation of life
