The article author analyzes the concept of anthropic principle that various scientists attempt to explain, and gives an Orthodox interpretation of this concept.
The author comes to conclusion that AP is what Paul the Apostle had said: "Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them, for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse" (Romans 1: 19-20). Anyone who tries to explore and understand the nature of things in the world around him sincerely, with a pure heart, to understand where all this beauty and complexity, and the variety of forms in the Universe came from, and also to clarify the connection of this whole world with man, human place in it, involuntarily comes to the faith of God.
In the author's opinion, anthropic principle in the universe, as a result of thin "superstructure" of physical constants, clearly demonstrates priority of holism and insolvency (in the global sense) of reductionism as metaphysical principles of the universe. However, the choice of this or that metaphysical methodology - concept in describing the phenomena of nature- does not determine the scientist's presence or absence of faith in God as the Creator of the Universe - and this remains entirely the matter of his will, Klimik believes.
The author assumes that further promotion of holistic methodological principle, in addition to its effectiveness within the science itself, will facilitate convergence of scientific and religious world outlook of scientists, and may also become the basis for more painless acceptance of creationism and theistic cosmology.
