   1. Canon of Insolation and the Ice Age Problem by Milutin Milankovic represents comprehensive summary of his life work and his capital work. The original edition of the Canon was published in German language in 1941, covering nearly three decades of his research, including a large number of formulas, calculations and schemes. It was translated into Serbian in 1997. Although new and more accurate theories are now available, most of the book has remained valid through time. Therefore, it can still be used as an in-depth introduction to the astronomical theory of paleoclimates.
