Dalj is a small town in today's Croatia, on the border with Serbia and on the Danube river. It is located in the municipality of Erdut. Dalj is known as the birthplace of one of the greatest Serbian scientists, Milutin Milankovic. In 2009, Cultural and Scientific Center "Milutin Milankovic", a public cultural and educational institution, was establishes, in the birth house of Milankovic.
