    1. The author defines euthanasia as a premeditated murder of an incurable patient in order to stop the patient’s suffering. For him euthanasia is profoundly anti-religious and anti-Christian as it represents the violation of the commandment Thou shall not kill. The author postulates that doctors who support and practice euthanasia believe that that there is nothing after death.

In his own practice as a medical doctor, the author has seen some seemingly incurable patients who then came back to life, often through prayer and repentance. That is why the author believes that infirm Christians should not think about a death which would end suffering but about the time that God is giving them in order to repent and mourn their sins. They should accept suffering and see it as a purification of the soul. He notes as well that in his own practice he has seen the Lord prolonging a patient’s suffering so that a person comes to full conscious repentance. The author concludes by stating that euthanasia is also dangerous as it can be used for nefarious reasons by relatives who wish to gain access to their inheritance more quickly.
