Grigorios Chrystostom Tympas is a priest and a pastoral counsellor in the Greek Orthodox Church (Ss Cosmas and Damian) in London. He received degrees in medicine and theology from the Aristotle University of Thessalloniki and a PhD in Psychoanalytic Studies from the University of Essex.
He has published books and papers focusing on the relationship between early psychic models (from Greek ancient and Christian traditions) and modern psychoanalytic approaches as well as psychiatric nosology.
