   1. Father Georgios Fragkiadakes was born in the city of Heraklion, Crete, in 1945. He graduated from the Ecclesiastical Academy of Crete, and later from the Schools of Theology, Philology, and Law of the University of Athens. Since 1970, he has been pastor of the church of the Dormition of the Mother of God in Chaidari. He has served as a teacher of theology and philology in the secondary education, and he has carried out, as well, missionary activities in Latin America, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. He has composed a significant number of books, and he is scientific associate of the Holy Metropolis of Nikaia.
