Argyris Nicolaidis is a Professor in the Physics Department, in the University of Thessaloniki. After finishing his studies in Physics (1973), he received his Ph.D. from McGill University of Montreal, Canada (1978). He was also a Postdoctoral fellow in Laboratoire de Physique Corpusculaire, Collège de France, Paris (1978-1980) and from 1980, he has been teaching Theoretical Physics in Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki. His research interests include Neutrino Astrophysics, QCD and Logic of Relations. He has written numerous publications in international and Greek scientific journals and he is the recipient of the Empeirikio Prize for Natural Science (1988). He is also the author of the book “Elementary Particles” (in Greek).
