    1. Dimitry Nikolaevich Smirnov, born on March 7, 1951 in Moscow, is a clergyman of the Russian Orthodox Church as well as a public figure. He is the Rector of the Church of St. Mitrofan of Voronezh on Khutorskaya and seven churches in Moscow and the Moscow region.


      Smirnov has also served as the Chairman of the Synodal Department of the Moscow Patriarchate for Cooperation with the Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies (2011-2013) and Chairman of the Patriarchal Commission for Family, Maternity and Childhood Protection (since 2011).


      Smirnov is the founder and leader of the project "Separate Divisions" - an Orthodox movement dedicated to the protection of family values, the counteraction of juvenile justice and the fight against abortion.
