    1. The article critically examined moral and ethical dilemmas originating from the practice of surrogacy. The author discussed both technological developments in bio-sciences and practical aspects related with the experience of the surrogacy mother and the offspring. He also notes the legal framework in that sphere. This phenomenon was also evaluated in the background of increasing commercialization and imposition of models of a “modern lifestyle”. The author juxtaposed to this tendency the Christian view that each individual is created in God’s image and he or she is guided by the same need for love. Contemporary scientific tricks to produce a child outside the couple totally destroy the sacrament of creation and birth, according to Alexandrova.
