This article is the history of project Apollo 11 by NASA, which led the man to the Μoon, in 1969. Through the detailed description of this project and the related difficulties, Leonidas Stylianopoulos formulates a series of questions and concerns about the role of faith today. Characterizing the "courage age" the attempt to conquer the Μoon, the writer seeks the corresponding era today and suggests a return to Christian and moral tradition that has led to that heroic effort.
