Dimitri A. Bayuk received his MSc in Physics from the Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1983 and his PhD in history of the sciences from the Institute for the History of Science of the USSR Academy of Science in 1998. He is the Deputy editor in Chief of the Quarterly Journal Voprosy Istorii Estestvoznaniâ i Tehniki [Studies in History of Science and Technology]. In the past he has taught in the National Research University and in the Saint Thomas Aquinas Institute for Philosophy, Theology and History in Moscow. He has also the recipient of Fullbright and Diderot Fellowships. D. Bayuk has published more than ten papers in European journals in the last ten years and over twenty papers in Russian. He is also the author of more than fifty popularizing articles in Russian.
