   1. Professor Tomislav Terzin was born in Sombor, Serbia in 1971. He graduated in molecular biology and physiology at University of Belgrade in 1996 and worked at the Institute for molecular genetics and genetic engineering in Belgrade from 1996 to 2001. Then he moved to Canada and obtained magistrate in zoology in 2003 at the University of Western Ontario. He got PhD at the same university in 2007. After postdoctoral studies at the University of Guelph where he was engaged in insects DNA barcoding, he became an Assistant Professor of biology genesis and genetic at the University of Alberta in Canada. His research includes butterflies and other insects. He is the author of many monographs and important scientific papers.

      Professor Terzin is very engaged in the questions of science and religion intercrossing. He held a number of lectures across the USA, Canada, England, as well as Serbia, on this topic, presenting his conclusions based on the two decades research.
