The article briefly discusses the controversy between the two models for the origin of life. Most attention is devoted to scientific arguments against the evolution theory. It is stressed that the dispute is very important as is it is crucial for formation of values in contemporary society.
The author briefly informed about activities of creationist scientists in the USA. Drumeva also argued that the two models have one feature in common, namely that they cannot be proved, and thus they both are based on faith. In addition, there were given several microbiology examples showing the complexity of life (including that of a simple protein molecule consisting of some hundred amino acids) and was elaborated on the statistical improbability of an accidental origin of life. The thesis for the irreducible complexity was supported by the sophistic defense system of the bombardier beetles. The author concluded that the evolutionist theory cannot explain similar thousands of amazing creatures in nature. No explicit reference to the intelligent design concept has been made in the article.
