Vasileios Constantoudis, in this paper, discusses about the mainstream opinions about the relation between science and religion. He describes the common views among the scientists and Christians, that science and religion are two different systems. According the writer, the new scientific and epistemological perspectives, which introduce factors as cultural background and relevant social constraints of science in the scientific practices are very interesting, because they introduce an anthropocentric view. So, the research field that could open this anthropocentric view in dialogue between science and religion should explore, among others, how religious experience affect the scientific activity of a man and vice versa. Besides this, the most important fact is that they could examine how science and religion meet the fundamental aspects of human life, such as the relationship with the world, awareness of death, birth, love, or more generally the relationship of the man himself with the world and other people. In this context, the dialogue between science and religion can be integrated into a broader dialogue between science and other aspects of culture, such as art and politics.
