    1. Radomir Rakic graduated from the Faculty of Orthodox Theology, University of Belgrade in 1962, and then from the Department of English language and literature at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade in 1965. He also graduated from the Higher School of Ecumenical Studies at Geneva University. He speaks German, English and Russian language and translates theologian literature from them. 

      From 1975 to 1983, he was the Editor of the magazine "Orthodoxy", then its Editor in Chief in the period between 1998 and 2002. In 1974/5, he was the Editor of "Herald", the official gazette of Serbian Orthodox Church. He was also the Secretary of the religious-scientific journal "Theological Views" from 1968 to 1989. 

      From 1969 to 1984, he was the Secretary of the Commision that was to update Vuk Karadzic's translation of New Testament, published as the authoritative translation of Serbian Church in 1984. He is the Member of the Association of Journalists of Serbia, and from 25 October 2006 of the Association of Writers of Serbia.

      Owing to his overall work to improve the Biblical teachings he was promoted to Honorary doctorate of theological sciences at University of East Sarajevo, on the initiative of the University Academic Council. 

      He represented Orthodox Serbian Church in many national and international scientific meetings, seminars and conferences. 

      He is now a deacon at the Church of Saint Constantine and Jelena in Vozdovac in Belgrade.
