    1. Eftyhis Bitsakis in his work From fire to the pulpit considers the relation between Christian theology and natural sciences under a historical and epistemological view, relating the contemporary social conditions with the renewed interest in the relationship between science and religion. His first aim is to examine the views of theologians, scientists etc. who are assigned to scientific questions, often misunderstanding or distorting scientific theories. The writer, in this book, analyzed critically the efforts of scientists, philosophers, clerics and theologians to exploit the data of current science, and especially of Einstein's theories of microphysics and cosmology, in order to "prove" the disappearance of matter, the existence of the immortal soul, the creation of the universe. In his opinion, indeed, during the incredibly naive "anthropic principle" the universe and then created such that it is to be a man! The scientific-mysticism promoted as scientific truth. Modern irrationalism, scientifically invalid and non-legitimate philosophical, involves a misunderstanding of Einstein's theories of cosmology and microphysics, and the process of anthropogenesis and noogenesis.
