    1. Born in 1943, Dimitris Kyriazis is psychiatrist and psychoanalyst. He retired from Hellenic Air Force as a two star General in 1992. He was head of the Psychiatric Department in the Hellenic Air Force Hospital (1974-1976 and 1987-1992). He is a past president of the Hellenic Society of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (1995-1998), and is currently a member of the training committee and deputy member of the EC of the International Federation Psychoanalytic Societies (IFPS). He has taught in post-graduate programmes in Psychiatry, Child Psychiatry, Family Therapy and Psychoanalysis and has published in Greek and English. He has taught psychology of leadership and stress management, human factors in aircraft accidents in Supreme Joint War College of Hellenic Armed Forces. He is currently working in private practice as Psychoanalyst, Group Analyst and Child Psychotherapist. His current interests focus on psychic trauma, therapeutic stalemate, psychic change in psychoanalytic process, neuropsychoanalysis, in small group and large group dynamics. He is also interested in the interaction between the Hellenic ancient thought (poetry, philosophy), mythology and contemporary psychoanalysis. He has written papers as well, on the dialogue between Orthodox Religion and Psychoanalysis.
