   1. Dimitar Popmarinov (PhD, Associate Professor) teaches at the Veliko Tarnovo University,  specialising in Bible studies. He is dean of the Faculty of Theology at the same university. Dr. Popmarinov took part in a number of international scientific conferences and has published a number of books and articles in scientific and popular editions. He also often appears in local media to discuss religious issues. Popmarinov was among the founding members and first chairman of the Orthodox Christian movement “Saint Evtimii, Patriarch of Tarnovo” in Sofia in 1992, and also one of the founders of foundation “Pokrov Bogorodichen” in 1994, an organization whose activity focuses on promoting Orthodox Christianity.
