    1. Dan Mihai Chiţoiu (Born 1961, Targu Ocna, Romania) received his Diploma in History and Philosophy from the "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University in 1987 and his PhD in 1999 from the same University. His doctorate discussed the problem of virtue in Plato and was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Marin Constantin. Prof. Chiţoiu is currently an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy and Social-Political Sciences in "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University, with research interests in Byzantine philosophy and Eastern Orthodoxy. He has been a Visiting Scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA, a Postdoctoral Research at the Academia Română, Filiala Iaşi and he has held Visiting Research Professorships in Notre Dame-Louaize University and in The Catholic University of America. He has published more than thirty articles and chapters in edited volumes, of which twelve in English and is a member of the Editorial Boards for the journals (The Journal of Chang'an University- Social Sciences Edition, International Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences, Journal of Social Sciences & Interdisciplinary Research) ⟶ Click Here
