Manolis Danezis (born 1949) got his Diploma of Mathematics from the University of Athens in 1975 and his PhD in Astrophysics in the Observatoire de Paris in 1984. He became a Reader of Astrophysics in 1986 and an Associate Professor of Astrophysics in 1988. His research interests include spectroscopy, observational astronomy and the History and Philosophy of Science. He has written more than 37 peer-reviewed articles and 22 books. Manolis Danezis has also curated and presented, with Ef. Theodossiou, three series of documentaries in Greek television.
