Carol Garrard is an independent scholar and the wife of historian John Garrard. Together with John Garrard, Carol Garrard has co-authored Russian Orthodoxy Resurgent: Faith and Power in the New Russia, Bones of Berdichev, The Life and Fate of Vassily Grossman and Inside the Soviet Writers’ Union.
