Valentin Cioveie initially studied Chemistry and Physics and later Philosophy at the University of Bucharest. He was awarded a PhD in Philosophy, on the subject of space-time concepts on contemporary Physics. He later on pursued a PhD in the History of Religion and Orthodox Theology at LMU Munich on the subject-matter of apophatic anthropology.
