    1. Gayle E. Woloschak (1955) is a the Associate Director of Research in the Department of Radiation Oncology, Fienberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University. She received a B.Sc. summa cum laude in Biological Sciences from Youngstown State University in 1976 and a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the Medical College of Ohio in 1980. She was Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Mayo Clinic from 1980 to 1983. She also received a M.A. in Orthodox Pastoral Theology from the Balamand Theological School in 2009 and a D. Min. in Eastern Christian Studies from Pittsburgh Theological School in 2012. She has also worked as a Research Scientists in the Argonne National Laboratory. Prof. Woloschak ‘s research interests include radiation biology, bionanotechnology, high resolution X-ray fluorescence imaging and the relations between Orthodox theology and science. She has published more than 220 peer-reviewed articles and has coedited or contributed to three books.
