Zhurinskaya graduated from the Philological Faculty of Moscow State University. For approximately 20 years she worked at the Institute of Linguistics in the field of general typology, general grammar and grammatical semantics. For 10 years, she was the coordinator of the group "Languages of the World" , the aim of which was to create a general body highlighting theoretical principles of language and publish an encyclopedia entitled "Languages of the World." She is a PhD Candidate of Philology and has more than 100 publications on linguistic topics. Zhurinskaya also translates from German. Since 1994, she the publisher and editor of "Alpha and Omega". Zhurinskaya is a member of the editorial board of the book "Theological Works."
