In this interview the long-standing high-school teacher in physics Teodosiev reflects on his work as an educator and his personal path to faith, referring on several places to Biblical wisdom and touching upon a number of occasions the relations between science and religion. He describes himself as a person of the exact sciences, brought up as skeptic with the motto “I am not a believer, I am a knower”, adding that blind faith can be dangerous. He also disagrees with the statement that there is a contradiction between faith and science, arguing that scholars generally have no conflict with religion. Among the arguments that supported his position was that the genius Isaac Newton who brought about a revolution in physics wrote more books on theology than physics and mathematics together. Teodosiev also notes that religious questions have often been discussed in his classes, and in many cases he explains them with the vocabulary of physics. For example, the distinction between satanic and divine can be interpreted by means of the physical notions of entropy and anti-entropy (understood as creating organized form of chaos, “to become a helper of God”) and entropy.
