   1. Stoyan Tanev graduated as a physicist at the Sofia University and obtained a PhD in physics at the Pierre and Marie Curie University (University of Paris VI), France, in 1996.  In 1997 he moved to Canada where he became interested in Orthodox theology. He obtained MA in theology at the Université de Sherbrooke, Canada, and in 2012 defended a PhD thesis in theology at the Sofia University. Dr. Tanev has also a degree in management of technological innovations and since 2009 he works as an associate professor at the Institute of Technology and Innovation, Odense, Denmark. His publications include a number of articles and books on Orthodox theology.
