    1. The Orthodox education is represented in the article as a type of religious education. The author gives the definition of the Orthodox education and describes its structure in modern Russia. Sklyarova provides a model of the Orthodox education system including the beginning, the basic and professional stages and the academic stage, also giving a general specification of these stages. The author indicates that religious education can be acquired in the family.
