Milan S. Dimitrijevic (born 1947) acquired his Bachelor Degree in Physics from the University of Belgrade, followed by a MSc and a PhD from the same university. He has worked in the Institute of Physics in Belgrade from 1974 to 1983, in the Institut for Physics in Zemun in 1984 and in the Astronomical Observatory of Belgrade from 1984. He has authored more than two hundred articles in astronomy and astrophysics and written and curated five TV series on astronomy. Finally, he has been the leader of three international projects, co-organized with CNRS, the British Council and the Serbian Academy of Sciences.
